She is now organising pro-bono supervision sessions every two months for EMCC aolidarity coaches. She is also developing pro-bono supervision for another NGO ‘Force Femme’.

For several years, we have put the spotlight on solidarity coaching as the royal route for EMCC members to fulfil a social responsibility role. Much has been achieved in developing Solidarity Coaching across EMCC which has made us realise there are many other interesting experiences emerging as being of value and which deserve special attention.

It is now time to widen the scope of initiatives that demonstrate social responsibility and recognise further work that has been undertaken in different EMCC Affiliated Countries, in the areas of mentoring, supervision and facilitation.

This workshop has been organised to give you the opportunity to discover these alternative ways and to show you how EMCC getting involved for a better world can operate. There will be four case study examples of pro-bono experiences in:

- Facilitation: a programme for women who have experienced trauma or abuse and which is closely associated with substance dependency in the UK – Dr Lise Lewis
- Mentoring: How EMCC supported the design and execution of 10 different mentoring programmes organised by various leading NGOs in Turkey – Dr Riza Kadilar
- Solidarity coaching: an EMCC partnership providing pro-bono executive coaching, enabling social entrepreneurs to realise their visions through creating sustainable social enterprises in Ireland – Billy Byrne
- Supervision: As part of Solidarity Coaching, pro-bono supervision sessions are offered to Solidarity Coaches as well as to some NGOs in France – Eveline Forlot.

Each of these will give you ideas to develop in your home country or invent your own way to participate with all your knowledge and experience of being a coach, supervisor, mentor, facilitator etc in order to help make the world better and to fulfil the purpose of EMCC ‘for the benefit of society’.
